Richly layered with incredible length. Gorgeous fruit with a purity of place. There is some extraction but not overdone. Last night tasted with Aubert UV-SL and Ceritas Occidental also from 2017. Stylistically, the heavier higher alcohol Aubert and the Ceritas couldn't be more different with the Ferren somewhere in the middle. The group was split between the Ferren and Ceritas as the favorite but all agreed that all the wines were excellent.
