This wine nicely straddles the line between an accessible Nebbiolo and a crisper high-altitude red. There is an interesting note of mint in the aroma. Firm acids but not too sharp. Well integrated red with with bright berry flavors, and dusty, mild, tannins.

Another northern Piedmont Nebbiolo. Blended with Vespolina and Croatina. Lots of tar, wet leather, mineral and ferrous, granite and rust from the volcanic soil, crushed rose petals, anise seed, ripe berry, blood-orange zest, good acids come through the earthy tannins. From Flatiron Wines.
