my second bottle of this wine in the last 3 weeks. I wanted to save it for a few years but I was too impatient to wait. Precise, saline, mineral, citrus. Screaming acid line and a very long finish. This wine will be long-lived.

Dec 23rd, 2020Jura Chardonnay grown on limestone. This is more in the camp in of Burgundy/Chablis than what I typically think of when I imagine whites from the Jura—certainly a more modern ouillé style. It’s is exceptionally precise and linear. Drinks well now but should evolve beautifully for a decade or more. Excels with food.
