Black and purplish opaque in color. On the nose leather, cocoa, black cherry, oak and some decomposed hay. On the palate stone, cassis, blackberries, oak with a smokey finish. Medium acid with strong tannins. This would go well with some lamb, but brussel sprouts will have to do. Higher on the alcoholic content which you can feel on the retrohale.
