One of my favorite accessible, all purpose Cali Chardonnays on the market right now. Summer night jasmine and faint vanilla, honeysuckle and lemon curd aromas. The subtlest hint of Chablis-like salinity. Light to medium body. Some white peach nectarine creeping in on the finish. Creamy - but more like 2% milk than butter. What it lacks in flavor complexity and finesse it makes up for with zest, precision and balance. Paired with weeknight-whatever’s-left-in-the-fridge carbonara.

Stone fruit, lemon, lighter body, fresh acidity, great QPR 👌

Crisp, light, nuisanced. Bright citrus and light new oak on the nose. Not overly buttery and oily, more crisp and complex than the usual California Chardonnay. Nice long finish. A testament to great producers

Pale yellow with touch of green tint, not much aroma. After a few mins air it was smooth, on the lighter side, low oak, low butter, slight tartness. Flavors of green apple and/or pear, touch of grapefruit. Very nice! For The Infatuation-Parcelle Wine School Zoom.

There’s an awful lot to like here for @$30. Beautiful ample nose of ripe pear and tart apple. Round, rich attack in the mouth, more weight than anticipated. Very pleasant to pop and pour... drinks very well already. ABV listed at 12.9, the wine shows nice acid/fruit balance and little noticeable oak.. I assume barrrels were 2 or 3 year old. Grapes from four very good vineyards..Rorick Heritage, Heron Lake, Haynes Old Vine, and Brousseau. Nice partner tonight for Veal Piccata and simple cheesy fettuccini.
