Sour cherry, raspberry tart, touch of grapefruit, a strong hint of vanilla amidst quite a strong presence of oak early doors. Quite woodsy and rustic. No discernible tannin but good acidity. Tastes older than three years. Fairly long finish. A light and gentle Burgundy that’s perfectly pleasant if a little uninspiring.
