Blend of Cab Sauv, Cab Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot & Malbec, made by 30 year Chappellet winemaker Phillip Titus. Deep Ruby, purple edges, youthful aromas of black fruit, spices, floral and flinty notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and black cherry with some vanilla and tobacco and herbal notes. Vivid acidity & firm tight tannins with long finish ending with a youthful character, a bit young, should benefit from bottle aging.

Dark purple with a near black core. Inviting nose and full-bodied palate of blueberry compote, black currant, and blackberry cobbler all in a balsam bowl. Medium tannins and sneaky medium acidity from entry to lengthy dark finish. Now this is a nice example of what California does best. Smooth enough for a sipper but with enough structure to accompany light to medium cuts of beef. Put it up against any modern “cult” blend and it will show beautifully. Drink now through 2023.

This is an absolute beautiful wine. Bought it at a nice little wine shop in Del Ray beach Florida. I told them what I like and this is what was recommended. I can’t express how velvety smooth it is with just a little bit of tannin and lots of fruit. I may have to place an order for more! Will end this busy Monday on a very fine note.

Nice change from our usual bold fruit bombs. More spice and leather but still so smooth. Delish!

Great red blend! Clean, dry and very vanilla forward but not in an overly sweet way. Would be happy to drink again!

Y’all, this one is good! Cherry and plum with some smooth tannins to round it out. Complex, but not crazy. Just tasty! #hopvwineclub #houseofpurevin #coronavino
