Surprising. The creamy, buttery mouth feel with pineapple and apricot leads you to expect a simple Chardonnay blend, but the layers go deep. In comes the Viognier with vanilla, then a lightly acidic finish with just enough toasty oak to bring you full circle. Except there are subtleties in between. Nice work.
