Mature and pretty oxidized, but still some life left and nice baked apple notes. [parents stored in a cabinet for 20 years, so not a bad result!]

1993 vintage. Amber, mostly flat. Flavor still has hints of what was. Too bad, but the cork had dried out. 12.5% ABV. From the FIL’s collection. IIRC the bottle had been upright on display for some time.

Svezi, mineralni, hodne kyselinka, ale uz ztraci kour, toast, vice med, presto osvezujici. Docela libilo. Potencial zrani podle me jeste je

An intense, complex nose of toast, yeast, earth, brine and mushroom opens this luxury cuvée. Medium-full and soft, by Dom Perignon standards, the palate offers subtle, light green herbs, sweet citrus and honey flavors. Lemon and lime predominate on the long, smooth finish. Classy stuff, if not possessed of the reserve or spine of the top vintages. Fortunately, that actually means it drinks better now than most Dom of comparable age. Best now through 2010.
