Angry enough to hit you with a sour plum and loving enough to make you a nice pasta with so many herbs. Tannins are prevalent which I’m into but others may want to wait a minute. Not the most complex but it has intelligence

Maraviosa! Dark, deep, rounded tannins carried the dark red fruit from beginning to end. Medium to full bodied.

Dak pie cherry fruit with balance but very present, penetrating tannins giving it a smacking, lingering finish.

A nice Chianti- dry, but not excessively as other reviewers have said. Earthy, vegetable Old World flavor. It went well with the chicken Madeira we paired it with. A generally good wine to go with Italian food. Thanks to my brother Mike for this nice Christmas present.

Pretty acidic. Smells great and is a bit fruity. Very good with food to balance out the acidity. I found this more full bodied than typical Chiantis. Long pleasant finish. $15

The first day I wasn't very impressed but day two, and decanted... Definitely nice. Dry but not puckery, fruit, not too much alcohol, good oak. I'd buy this again. One of the better reds I've had in awhile.

Ripe plum and black cherry. Italian herbs. Subtle spice and peeper. Actually quite pretty. Plush, smooth feel but tart to finish. Dark fruits all the way. Less dimension on the palate, but still over delivers at the price point ($10 at Costco). Perfect pizza wine.

Tobacco, dirt and graphite. Bit of cherry, but more earthy than fruity.
