An iconic Argentine wine; probably the most well-known Malbec for that matter. Big producer, a great one at that, who’s focused on quality. There’s oak, blueberry, plum and leather. You get a slight silkiness with good tanning structure, somewhat refined. Outstanding value, one of the best under twenty dollar wines I’ve had.

July 2020. Saw Laura Catena on several virtual tastings this spring/summer. So impressed by her. This entry level Malbec, not so much. Used it for Sangria. 😁
