Popped and poured; enjoyed over several hours. Clearly showing the solar nature of the vintage, the 2015 Fèlsina CCR pours a deep garnet color with a near opaque core. Medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is vinous with notes of stewed cherries and strawberries, well-oiled leather ball glove, red flowers, curaçao, dried green herbs, and sandalwood. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannins and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes of the nose. The finish is long, tart and satisfying with ferrous minerals. A lovely pairing with Conchiglie Ripiene. While this is fully mature, it still has a healthy life ahead. Drinking very well now and should through 2030 with ease.

Really nice. Deep color. Rich and intense. Perhaps a little oak heavy, but really shows how full bodied sangiovese can be.

Medium garnet with a lovely nose of spice leather, cherry, cedar and violet. Medium to full bodied, medium acidity and ripe, mellow tan wins. Aromas of orange peel, cherry, leather and sweet spice - a lovely and surprisingly mature wine.

Ruby with complex berry and elegant spice aromas. On the palate rich ripe cherry and blackberry flavors with sweet spice, cedar, cacao and tobacco enhance the berry fruit. Graceful tannins, savory with good acidity balance, lingering ending with earthy mineral character. Nice!

A young pup showing lots of youth with fruit and a beautiful floral nose. 2015 has had rave reviews for chianti and surrounds so lets follow how these develop. Great structure shud evolve well
