Very decent chilling-at-covell-editing-a-character-monologue-comedy piece sipper. It had the Nebbiolo things I dig:
Flowers. Licorice. Blackberries and cherries. The tannins are not quite integrated though. Actually all over things (and by things I mean body, acid, flavors, alcohol heat) aren't quite integrated and balanced but for all the tastes you get in whatever order, it WAS tasty. And a good distraction from actual work to write about. And high enough abv to convince me the work I am editing is in fact LOL funny. But I only had like maybe a half glass? And so we shall see tomorrow if the wine was good and funny-inducing or good and...I am actually full of laughs. I'm hoping the latter but I am also editing wine reviews at 1:12am
