lovely and fresh. some tart berry, some raw beef, delightfully acidic and delicately tannic. very quiet fruit, very subtle bitter root, and a little glazed donut icing-feel all over the mouth. sweet cherry bookend is very appealing. great everyday food wine, but I imagine this will make a lovely summer red as well.
