Dark purple core and a bright purple rim. Love the dark fruit and cocoa. Fleshy and shortish make it fun. Not terribly complex but caught some leather too. Crowd pleaser and a great value. Can see wide appeal to people who like Malbec (obviously it’s the dominant grape at 80%), cabs, and Syrah (20%). Rotation-worthy.

Had this Jan 25th - 27th, 2019 but forgot to rate it. I recall it was deep garnet red in colour, nice aromas and as one reviewer put it a nice balance of old/new world. Medium to full bodied. Dark fruit with a little bit of leather. Day 1 & 2 OK but Day 3 not so much. LCBO $18.95

Loved this malbec syrah blend. Best of both grapes with light start, rich chocolate and pleasing spice. Big fan especially for the price. I’ll be back.
