Sparkling Riesling and crab legs. This is bone dry, and electric with acidity. Green apple.

Tasty sparkling Riesling from Kick-On Ranch in Santa Barbara. Very interesting and a lil funky, as are all of Matthew's wines. Pours a pale gold hue. Decently concentrated nose of aged cheese rind and brioche dough leesiness, wet chalk and a savory saline character, lemon juice, underripe Anjou pear, and a bit of that hallmark Riesling TDN character. On the palate it shows pretty similarly but with a bit more ripeness in the fruit character. Medium (-) body with fine bead of bubbles, high acid, very dry. I feel like this would be killer with good plate of fried chicken.
