Inky purple black. Blueberry, roasted coffee, black pepper, and hints of smoke all evident on the nose. Not as fleshy as a typical bottling of “Relentless”, this challenging vintage has produced a surprisingly well balanced wine despite the 15.8% alcohol. The well integrated tannins give a slight bite to the long finish. Made from a blend of 91% Syrah and 8% Petite Sirah aged 30 months in 100% new French oak, it paired nicely with a Lamb Sirloin with harissa, kohlrabi, and a spiced labneh.

Purple in color. Nose dominated by vanilla and oak with some sweet cherry, blackberry and plum notes. Round sweet voluptuous tannins. The mouthfeel is more Petite Syrah than Syrah. A lingering finish feels comforting.

One of the better wines I've had from this challenging vintage.

Wow. And this is an 11'! Toasted hazlenut, rapped in tar and dried blueberry. Sappy and viscous on the mouth. Long, round, soft finish with some acid to boot. Badass. Wish I had more

Big, inky, and dense. Blue and black fruits. Dark espresso. Roasted herbs. Blackened meat. Little aroma. Needs time.

Nice wine. Reminiscent of a great Australian Shiraz with some age. Wine o year - not too sure.

Decanted for 30 minutes. Drinking wonderfully right now but still no rush! Lush dark fruit, eucalyptus, a bit of bacon fat, and smoke charcoal. Drank side by side with Gorman Winery's The Evil Genius 75% syrah 25% cab blend. The Relentless wins this H2H even when factoring price.
