Very elegant and with a great freshness for a 17 years old Barolo. Compared with the 2007 I felt some tiny signs of first maturity though. Very smooth tannins, red currant, red and black cherries. This one opened up beautifully in the glass with some air.

Maybe my favorite Barolo yet. Tannins need to chill a bit, but delicious red fruits and medium body. No real discernible oak taste. Traditional producer doing things right.
