Dolcetto di Dogliani

Good fruit earth balance.

Brambly smoked cherries on the nose. Dusty peppery blueberry- grape- juice on the swallow. Tannins? They are there. European loveliness.. I rather like this Italian concoction!

Offered as part of prix fixe dinner at Tonno, Gloucester. A nice food-friendly red, expansive, approachable. A bit hot at ABV 14.

Mixed berries, cacao pieces, stronger tannins than expected.. still a juicy glugger with a layer or so

This is pretty nice. Nice fruit and an easygoing personality. Really versatile with food - and cheap too.

Pleasant mustiness in the nose. Clear reddish-purple hue. Pleasing dark fruit flavors and medium-full body. Hint of minerality behind young flavor with tannins in the finish.

Shipped horrible. Great family line, does the atlantic crossing very poorly

So much cherry and plum. Tannins fine as Halle berry in 1998. Nice level of tartness. This swims between light and dark fruits easily. Long but still really tight. Yummy
