Known name to, oh everyone? This “claret” is distinctly California but not in a way to make me run to Bordeaux. More or less it is yummy wine and sometimes that is what you want. Rich blackberries, vanilla and a smidge of clove. Eat (drink) it up.

Very nice and smooth. Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys Cab Sauvignon.

A solid everyday red. Very fruit forward, very soft tannins. Not really my thing but hard to imagine anyone not finding it at least ok.

FFC Winery, re-opened in July 2010, is the latest venture from Francis Ford Coppola, who has passion for wine and food. Deep red with black fruit aromas and oaky spice. On the palate blueberry and blackberry flavors with herb pepper and smoky oak, not overly complex. Medium finish, strong tannins with spicy ending.
