Les Pucelles Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Chardonnay

Soft lemon. Plasticine, really faint hint of marzipan. Lovely balance and purity

Thrilling stuff. Bright, light, sharp and defined. Great minerality and dazzling fruit. Really good.

Lovely lime and rock. Noticeable oak, white flowers, limestone. Really zest and punchy. Great fun

This is spectacular right now. Great purity with lifted lemon, hints of honey and softened white floral notes. It has a great balancing salinity on the mid palate and real complexity. Starting to show some of the secondary notes of age/ oxidation but in a really good place. Given those notes I’ll probably drink the next of these soon in case they turn. Wonderful stuff. The best pucelles I’ve had from Boillot

Once# it’s opened in the glass a lush pickles nose with spearmint in BT at the edges. Great acidity and thrust. Quite the 14 spine. Still young

This is young but ticking now. Vivid bright fruit with lime, greengage, tart sparkly acidity and a lovely lemon confit midpalate. Wonderful stuff- a king time ahead too.
