Deep ruby red in appearance. Rich and dark nose with layers of black plums, cassis, black pepper, violet undertone and a bit of minerality. Heavy tannins (7/10) and full bodied. Layered palate with graphite, black cassis, violets and baking spices. Long, lingering and dry finish. Drink till 2045.

Good, but not as great as some others-wanted more silk on the palate

My first wine of an incredible tasting! A beautiful nose of plump roasted red and black plums, dark chocolate, black pepper, spice and touch of oak. The palate opens up to a velvet texture that is tight but has a core of black fruits and wet stone surrounded by a savory component that holds on to a long finish. #mwtasting

This wine needed a little more time to breathe but still rocked our evening. Clearly has another 20 + years.

Light and smooth up front and then hit with tannins 2/3rds of the way through it. Needs more time to mellow, but great structure

Work wine. Tastes nice, just not our preference.

This is a 9.9 wine that’s 10 years too young. Incredible just huge and needs time!

Commanderie de Bordeaux. Theme was BBQ and 2010 vintage. Fantastic event.

First bottle of the top wine of Angelus. Gave it a solid 7 hour decant. Out of control delicious. Amazing franc-dominated nose and an endless finish. Best wine I’ve ever had.
