Fifth wine at Oakton this afternoon and second red. Purplish ruby red, darker than the AiAiAi. Very tight to start on the nose. Finally opened up with some dark fruits, plums, purple floral notes and slight herbal finish. Slightly smooth start with moderate tannins (7/10) and moderate plus body. Lots of blackberries and some light brambles on the palate. Long and dry finish. Definitely needs some more time to open up. Drink till 2028.
