This is a 90/91 rated Cabernet from Washington. Primarily Cab, there’s a good dollop of Syrah and a tiny bit of PV, Merlot and Malbec. A nose of wood on PNP. Firm and chewy with sweet, juicy oak nuances on the palate. Drying tannins clamp down a bit on the finish, about all I can say on the con side esp when you consider it was $19.

Dark w/ huge blackberry note. Tannin and a little smoke and pencil lead. Tasty.

Very soft plush cab blend. Dark fruit, slight smoke and graphite w/almost non existent tannins very good easy everyday wine. In magnum.

Jun 3rd, 2017Pretty young. Just really tight. It seemed like it wanted to open up, but it just wasn't happening. I'll stick the other three away and see what happens. Strong hints of oak after about an hour. Bell peppers on the nose and then cherries on the tongue stuck their head up at some point, but nothing really emerged.
