Pretty Chardonnay, lemon, waxy, fresh, new oak toastiness on the finish

Just incredibly good value. Lots of depth for a (single vineyard) appellation blend. Very light with the oak touch and full of cool climate goodness. Creamy, but not buttery with golden apple and lychee. Solid acidity to hold everything in place. Good for at least 4-5 more years.

An "appellation" wine that is secretly a single vineyard wine. The fruit here is world class and the wine is just phenomenal. If this was made from the lesser barrels I can't wait to taste the Bearwallow designate of this.

Corn silk and cream, lychee and ginger. Exotic and sexy. I want this with hamachi sashimi!

This is good, no doubt. There is an intensity of CA fruit that is enjoyable, albeit more tropical than what I’m after; ultimately more one dimensional and unbalanced. Expected more, therefore the score.

Very similar to the ‘15 Premier Cru Chablis poured at the same time. This was a little more creamy in texture.

This is really good tonight. Nice fresh acidity with lots of citrus and floral character.

Lemon green color. Tropical fruit and stone on the nose. Soft yet mineral palate. Long finish.

For us this is a terrific chard. Always crowd pleasing and easy going. Very low oak and throws people as a CA chard. But the fruit and elegance is present. Well done Rhys
