Brought by Naoko. My first perfect wine in a long time. Dag Zapatero take note! Incredible. I believe I'm one of the first people to be lucky enough to taste this unreleased wine. Thank you Naoko! Prolific to say the least. It has the power of the 13 vintage but with an incredible finesse that's rarely seen from Napa. This is a Cab whose glory days are at least 10 years down the road. There are layers of complexity that are just waiting to spring open as this beauty ages effortlessly. Only 4 barrels made and one bottle was a 6L that will be auctioned off as part of Naoko's ANV 16 auction lot, so that reduces the total cases even more. Consider yourself lucky if you're an existing mailing list member and have an allocation of this wine. I'm jealous!
