This is another great Zin from vintner Ian Blackburn and winemaking team Clay Mauritson and Emma Kudritzki. There is dark fruit aplenty, with savory, smokey notes that create a complex backdrop. Black and white pepper plus a slight herbal streak make for a real taste treat.

More color and structure than you would expect from Zinfandel, which I think it's a good thing.

Dark cherry and spice will great your nose along with a touch of wet earth. Plums, dark cherries, spices and pebbles will mix on your palate. This is a smooth and delicious glass of wine. If you are one of those people that think Zinfandel is too fruity or not classy enough for you, you owe it to yourself to try this one. It is a class act and truly delicious.
