Wow, is this a “funky wine.” At first, I thought I noted ammonia in the nose. (Was this wine or a urine sample?). Not long after pouring, it began to open up. Deep Straw color (almost orange). Musty, wet basement and herbal aromas. Flavors of apricots, orange peel and black pepper. A bit of oxidation. Different in a positive way.
