Flinty, earthy, steely aromas pervade at first. Then some faint green apple fruit comes out as it warms and oxygenates. Nothing but earth on the finish. To me, a nice curiosity, but not much more. After being open a few hours, the finish got almost undrinkably sour. The rating does not count that.

Funky with a hell of a lot of acidity.

What a ride: searing acidity, then salinity, then a counterintuitive round and sweet note on the close. Mellowed out quite a bit over an hour, but I would have kept the first impression - reminded me of a great Margarita.
