Smokey raspberry and big green trees. Dried fruit. Really big flavorful wine. Plums and rich dark purple fruit. Still has really nice acid, body, and a lingering finish. Really love this

Smoke, warm red fruits, spices, powdered sugar, roasted plums. Tannins have grip but are countered by plenty of acidity and alcohol is warm but not intrusive. Exceptionally balanced and complex at a great price point.

Blind, I was fooled into calling this Priorat or Grenache driven C.D.P. Need I say more.

Our weekly wine group's theme was "Rhone" wines. This and a California Cinsaut were everyone's favs.

Rich, smooth, meaty wine. Delicious fruit coming through, subtle rested tannins. Delicious.
