Bourgogne Chardonnay

Got better with time and fair amount of lemon and minerality but never lost the metallic taste and a bit too simple for the pedigree.

crazy reduction at first sniff. Needs a decant.

I wish I could afford more White Burgundy. Entry level, but still quite complex. Plus that label isn't bad to look at.

Pop and pour...more than 3 years since my last btl. Sad this is my final.btl. On the nose: marzipan, lemon, thyme, soft noble reduction. On the palate: acidity seems slightly attenuated, good density, loads of wet stone, more marzipan, and sour lemon. Lovely.

Matchstick, lemon, intense minerality ⚡️

Crisp, citrusy, flinty, and plenty of acid.

Maybe I'm colored by his other bottlings, but I don't quite get this interpretation.
