Leather saddle dust from the attic. Barnyard floor, licorice and tar. Intense beams of violet, black raspberry and cacao powder. Pinot-Noir like in its focus and finesse. Not much green character to be found here at this point. Limestone terroir speaks powerfully in the glass. Outstanding Chinon.

Concentrated, deep garnet. Reductive nose, but a little air opens it up to show light floral & ripe cherry notes. Medium bodied with more dark cherry & bright acidity. Hint of green pepper on the finish. Moderate grip adds some texture. Really enjoy Alliet's wines.

Decant, decant, decant! At least 1hr or 2. Holds up very well with good structure and integrated tannins. Could cellar for another 5yrs plus.
