The nursery block of Coastlands vineyard; 20 clones, own-rooted, dry farmed. Intense red fruit & sous bois on an almost weightless frame. Structured finesse and beauty. #cobb #swc

A Coup'la pinots on a Monday afternoon. Trying to figure out what percentage whole cluster this involves, or if it was just the herbal nature of this wine that made it seem so. 12.5% abv, pours rather light. Nose of herbal raspberry and dirty cherry mixed with a spicy character. The entry is lighter yet bright acidity is present. Dirty bing cherry, hint of cola, herbal, whole cluster appears in the middle and finish. Really neat wine and probably ready to go just about now. Quite nice structure, and I feel that this will probably hold another decade or so because of it.

Light soft, fresh -but with darker fruit on the nose (leather, tobacco). Lovely acid, balanced. Nice bottle.
