A bit of barnyard, but so fresh and tasty

Natural Côte Rôtie, some barnyard nose and alive fizzle, I want some more time with this.

Someday I hope to get a taste of the ‘Tupin’ Sérine. This will do for now.

Huge olive and brine all the way through. Flavor is singular. Great structure. Maybe better in time.

Thanks to a generous wine store GM who served me a glass blind. Easy to see this was unfiltered. Tar and earth leap from the glass. In the mouth earth,cherries and some leather mix with a nice dose of acid. You can almost chew the soil in this wine. I am ashamed to say I guessed Gamay😳. Note to self do not over think and go with your 1st choice.

Weird showing, carbo when opened, then shut down hard. Day two has some oxidation and weird midpalate. Not doomed but give these guys a while to sort it out.

Loved this. Never would have guessed Rhone.
