Vivid red. Deep-pitched aromas of fresh blackberry and cherry show hints of violet, cola and orange zest in the background. Supple and broad in the mouth; juicy dark fruit and floral pastille flavors are given lift and spine by a jolt of tangy acidity. Powerful yet lithe, finishing with solid thrust, sneaky tannins and very good length. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, Dec 2016)

Smooth and delicious with a bit of herbal peppery flavors on the back end. Smooth tannins...Bigger than I expected but enough going on (there must be a technical word for this)....to keep it bright

Drank with Larry on 10/31/16 with a stuffed pork chop dinner. It has a bitter edge and really didn't fit our expectations for a pinot.
