This is Bouchet vineyard higher altitude than the cote rousse which is from red mountain production is almost exactly the same and the clone is the phelps clone so the only difference is the terroir 50% new oak

As always, a very good bottling and reflective of the savory/briny nature of Boushey Vineyard Syrah. It is surprisingly low in acidity for a cooler vintage. The aromatics are the star of the show with developed floral & dark fruited notes.
