2012 is so good here. Rustic charm. Deep cherry, mineral, herbs, grass, sour cherry, palate is rustic, chewy, mineral, charming. Lovely.

Been a while for this one as well. Nose is lovely with some funk. Deep cherries, tons of earthy fruit, forest, smoke. Seems like it needs maybe 30 minutes for the funk to blow off. Even as I write this it is. Palate is bright and juicy with terrific 2012 amplitude and force. Needs air as well. It's all there but I woke this wine up from a deep slumber it seems. Will be back.

A great vintage for this wine. Deep woodland nose of berries, earth, bramble and mint. Very evocative and very deep and very complex. Terrific. Luscious mouthfeel with nice finesse and elegance and nimble quality. Finishes very savory. Dynamite wine. Needs an hour to flesh out.

Lovely big and ripe and juicy tannins. Decadent fruit. Darker berry fruits. Very pure and long. Super deep aromas. Needs 2-3 years. Totally terrific. My fave normal vintage not Vaupessiot.

A little poopy Brett nose on top of tart black cherry and a little savory sous bois. Very, very tight on opening, this fleshes out with a few hours but only so much. A nice wine for the AFWE but needs time. Will be interested to see it on day 2
