Pours a deep garnet, almost purple. Aroma is relatively intense, with brambly and crunchy red and black berry fruit, freshly zested orange, cannabis-like resin, and ripe soil. Palate is fruit- and acid-driven with a wallop of tart raspberries and blackberries. Finish sticks to the back of your throat like sugar. This actually reminds me of Foillard’s Cuvee 3.14, a recent favorite.

Man, really hard call on this one. The 2011 and 2012 you could just crack open and enjoy. This new vintage from Elisabetta needs a lot of time open to really discover what this wine has to offer. Still gamey aromas and dense black fruit. Lower alcohol, even for her entry level Teroldego, I feel it hurts the wine with a lack of depth from extraction. Yet has purple colors. Interesting to try again even in a year or two.

Pretty darn tasty with lots of dense black fruit and a touch horse shit. Wild and fresh and lucious all at the same time. Much nicer than the last vintage and
