Really love this stuff. It's beginning to define a whole new category of sa wine and is so unique. More Rhone white that Loire, the wines is rich, creamy, round and concentrated without being overripe.

Beat after 1-2 hours of air and above cellar temp. There's a stone/dust thing going on up front. Lemon, nectarine, flowers, cantaloupe. Nice mix of bright acidity and thicker richness there.

South Africa is still working out how to get the best out of its Chenin Blanc and this is a good example of the progress that is being made: rich, full, almost meaty, with an oiliness from the 11% Sémillon. A good wine, still striving for its acidity.
