As I drink the wine, it's very obvious how it is old world by how much iron/graphite comes across the palate. Usually my tongue doesn't dry out from a wine more than my cheeks.. So that was cool! This was just opened at the perfect time. This is like on the peak of its peak and still has finesse to it. Acai berry on the nose and very limited on the palate. Tonight just totally changed my opinion on thinking Merlot was overrated and this wine was phenomenal.
