Classic northern Chardonnay notes here: bright pear, pepper and spice, and wet stony minerality with notes of salinity. Elegant, round, with good fruit but also floral, chalky character that melds well with the lactic flavors. An all around complex Yonne offering that also is unashamedly quaffable.
