Quite tertiary now with prominent mushrooms and truffles. Intense flavors yet only 12% ABV.

Out of the bottle this wine stayed closed longer than Bloom's Field. Tighter more wound up wine that seems to need time to develop. I would love to taste this wine every year for the next ten...should improve substantially over time as non-fruit components come forth with more presence and profile.

Best of the bunch, the most balance and precision of the La Cote portfolio.

Spice, herbs, red fruit. Soft with plenty of acid. Will age well

Quite good a little smokey but really well made. More dark then red berries some earth very good acidity and alcohol at 12% or so. Quite expensive! Had this at the Meritage in Encinitas the tastings on Friday are ridiculously good!

Wonderful nose; like a Burgundy. Nice on the front to mid-palette, bright in all the right ways but lack of acid made for a short finish.
