From the Piedmont region, Barbaresco sub-region. 100% Nebbiolo grapes grown in the hills above above Barbaresco. Aromas of sweet dark berry fruit with floral notes. Aged for 2 years on oak showing black cherry and ripe strawberry flavors with gentle hints of black pepper and tobacco, nice balance and structure. Fine soft tannins on lingering finish ending with earthy tones. Will age well, tried one 6 months ago, getting better but needs more time.

First time I tasted this in 2010 I remember somebody saying I like my Nebbiolo more tannic and dusty. Wasn't sure what that meant at the time. Now I understand. Pretty wine, nice fruit, well polished but lacks complexity
