#wsetschool A beautiful pale classic Nuits-St-Georges 1er Cru that's ageing well. Lots of red cherry fruit, strong vanilla, spice and toasted wood, plus some tertiary development of leather, tobacco, dried banana and wet leaves. Wonderful acidity, and decent body and higher than average tannins for a Pinot. This is well balanced being aged in 70% new oak.
