Beautiful 2009 fruit and nice aromatics. Gevrey muscle and terrific acidity. Bruno Clair old school winemaking. Enjoyable today, but this will be great in 20 years.

This premiere cru vineyard really is holding all the cards of a grand cru, so heady and complex. Changed minute to minute in the glass unfolding from meat to burning incense. Insanely long in the mouth, from raspberry pie, velvet, electricity, metal, earth, spices, seriously all the cards. This was heavily marked down in price obviously quite mistakenly, and drank in the last hour of this Italian restaurant being open. All those deep marinaras, light cheeses, and crispy burnt pizza crusts were the absolute perfect compliment to the deep Gevrey terroir on display here. This was killed way too quickly but holy god was it enjoyed.

Very young but very approachable, typical of the 09s. Lots of red fruit fuller body and long finish.

2009--deep dark cherry and spice flavors. Very structured and powerful wine

A very round and beautifully integrated wine. Complete, managed to bridge cod and beef, believe it or not. The year year helped. Many layers, perhaps because of the relatively cool site. Bright red berries and cherries grounded in earth.
