This was a fantastic bracket to kick off our much deserved end of harvest lunch. The four Savignin wines were electric and no more so than the 2004 Vigne de mon Pere from Ganevat (which foiled an 18 month Comté perfectly). It was exceptional even in such elite company and somehow looks as fresh as a daisy after 130 months in a single 600lt cask. Easily my greatest Jura white ever - 2004

2004. One of the finest white wines I have had in a long time (for me). Clear as a well-tuned bell and a mountain spring. Had many, many more years to go. A real beauty. Loved it beyond.
