Absolutely rocking. Makes me crave sushi. Spring-loaded stone fruit mixed with juicy orchard fruit with an herbaceous edge that finishes with more chalk than detention.

100% Verdejo. Rueda DO. Lovely. Citrus, tropical fruit. Wet cement minerality, moderate acidity, broad feel. 13.5 alc Enjoyed at the amazing Vinoteca Moratín in Madrid, best of many great restaurants we tried.

Light straw yellow with fresh sweet stone fruit flavors. On the palate green apple and pear flavors are well balanced with acidity and depth. On the finish one gets a slight mineral tang and a toasty ending. Sample.

This was a pretty big Verdejo! Had some heft to it, feel like they got a lot out of it during maceration/extraction... showed some deeper yellow hues & lots of yellow stone fruit, strong acidic background but not nervy - makes it a more diverse pairing option

Because Sunday afternoon and I don't have any wine from Greece to go with my grilled chicken gyros. 100% Verdejo, $12. Grapefruit (tart, but not sour), touch of tropical fruit, quite dry. Light.
