This 2013 has a slight butterscotch on the nose. The butterscotch carries over to the palate with almost a caramel note on the finish. A touch of acidity as the wine finishes! This is quite tasty!

Welcome to another Friday and another week in the books. Time to sit back and relax with a bottle of wine from the Willamette Valley, the 2013 Domaine Serene Evenstad Reserve Chardonnay.

On the nose I am getting notes of lemon curd, green apple, peach, honeysuckle, jasmine, praline, light butter, nutty oak and some nice minerality.

The palate gives me bright lemon, apricots, green apples, a touch of butter and some wet stones.

We have a creamy rich mouth feel with a medium + acidity with a crisp long finish.

A nice Chardonnay from the Willamette Valley that will pair well with fish. Nice!

Have a safe and enjoyable weekend. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷

A very good #newworld #chardonnay showing great tension and balance. Not overblown in the least bit. #domaineserene #oregon #ctbucklinwine

Light, crisp. Made in the Burgundian style but from Oregon! This is not your typical California Chardonnay!!

Golden color in the glass. Lemon and golden delicious apple dominant on the nose with hints of pineapple and vanilla. Moderately full bodied with lemon curd on the palate, moderate oak influence, and racy acidity. Moderate length finish with slight minerality. 13.3% alcohol. $55.

Drank the whole bottle and feel GREAT! Gotta love that Dijon clone, like buttah.

Great wine, great food, and most importantly great friends!!! Crisp, yet refined with subtle hints of apple and pear. Great way to start a meal!
