Just love the Rhino on the label! Ruby red with blue and black fruit aromas and earthy floral spices. The palate shows blackberry and cherry flavors with some oak and spice. Vivid acidity, soft tannins and earthy mineral notes on a medium+ finish.

Notes of cherries, plum, black pepper, green pepper, star anise, earth and tabacco on the nose, heavier cherry & pepper on the tongue. Balanced-ish, slightly fruit-forward, fewer notes of age than expected. Medium intensity, long length, medium complexity. Overall dry with a semi aroma. Acidic, high in tannin, delicious. Great with fried chicken!

Medium high tannins. Dark fruit and slightly peppery. Paired with carbonara at Rosemary's. Not the best pairing. Wine was alright. Pasta was great.
