I’d say it’s definitely in its drinking window and see little reason for further cellaring. Paired it with sweet Italian chicken sausages and creamy mushroom polenta.

Oct 23rd, 2020Cherry liqueur, blackberry compote, black currant, plum, mint, fresh thyme, iron, balsamic, pine. Perfect sharp acid/wide rough velvet tannins, juicy-silky texture, full bodied, long dry smoky-slightly earthy finish. Strong complex aromatics, highly evolved in glass. Hard to find a wine this complex in its price range. Classic producer.
